School history

Since being founded by Judith Earnshaw in 1988, Oxford School of Massage (OSM) has been a centre of excellence for massage training, priding ourselves in offering small classes, with highly experienced tutors, who will coach and support you throughout the duration of your qualification and beyond, in a friendly and caring environment. We offer a high level of personal attention to our students in the pursuit of combining the technical skills needed for massage, with the sensitivity and awareness of the subtle aspects of healing work.

We offer high quality accredited training courses in which we recognise the importance of the link between the physical body, the mind and the emotion,s of both the therapist and the client, in delivering a truly holistic massage treatment.

In addition to running our ITEC accredited Level 3 Holistic & Therapeutic Massage Diploma, we also offer a wide range of continuing professional development CPD workshops for OSM graduates and qualified massage therapists, which are listed on our website. We also offer a one day 'Introduction to Massage' course each month.

OSM ITEC graduates are eligible to register as a full member with the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and to be listed on the CThA website. Other bodies, such as the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) will also accept our ITEC accredited diploma.
